Mains X1 and auxiliary X4 have to be connected as shown in Figure 6.3.1.8-1.
The external device (contactor) is not part of the UPS, is provided and installed at customer care.
In case of mains failure, contactor will isolate the UPS in order to protect the upstream distribution
circuits.
The installer shall apply the following warning label on all primary power isolator that supplies the
UPS.
External back feed protection device installation is necessary to prevent
hazardous voltage from being present on the UPS input AC distribution panel
after interruption of input AC power
