Using the Reset Button

If an issue with your Access Point’s
configuration prevents you from connecting
back to its management interface, a factory
default reset will be needed.
To restore the factory default configuration
settings, use the Default Reset button on the
front of the wireless access point.
This reset button has two functions:
•

Reboot.

After a short press on the button,

the Wireless Access Point will reboot (restart).
This has the same effect as power cycling the
AP or pressing the Reboot button in the
Reboot/Full reset menu.
•

Reset to Factory Defaults.

If the reset

button is pressed and held for more than 5
seconds, the Blue LEDs will flash shortly and
the AP will reboot with its factory default
configuration.

RESTORING THE FACTORY DEFAULT CONFIGURATION

Default Factory Settings

When you start the first configuration of your
Legrand Access Point, the default factory
settings will be set as shown below.
