The RM should be held close enough to the microphone to 
change the settings on the intended transmitter, and not be 
loud enough to affect other transmitters nearby.

Important:  The remote control (RC) mode 
must be enabled on your SM Series 
transmitter for the RM to function with it. 
For instructions, refer to page 7 of this 
publication.
