Positioning Your Appliance 

 

Connection to the electricity supply 

Connect the appliance to the electrical supply with the plug 

and lead which are fitted.  The connection to the electrical  
supply should be made according to current standards and 
regulations.   

 
This appliance must be earthed. 

 
Always make sure that the plug is accessible after the 

appliance has been positioned. 
 

This appliance should not be connected to the electrical 
supply using an extension cable. 

 
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a Lec 

service engineer, authorised service agent or similarly 
qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard. Contact Lec 

customer care centre for assistance. 
 

If the plug requires changing, or a new fuse is needed 
instructions are included in this handbook (see Cleaning and 

Maintenance).
