1 Measure from hinge center line and mark drilling holes.

SRT screws are used on metal doors.
Wood screws are used and recommended on wood doors.
Reduce installation torque if using SRT screws in wood.
3 Measure and determine your door’s width. Using a
B\cx
” hex
wrench, adjust the closer spring power. Use the table below to
determine number of turns required.
Turn counterclockwise for “-”; turn clockwise for “+”.

These turns are recommended, but may change due to
door weight and environmental conditions.

Do not use power drill to adjust spring force! It may cause
damage and void the warranty.

4 Install roller into track, then install end plugs.
For Hold Open
option, complete that
assembly, on page 4,
during this step.
5 Install track plugs onto track, install track onto frame.

adjustment.
6 Install closer onto door using fasteners provided.
7 Install arm to closer.
a. Attach arm to the closer at a 45° pre-load position.
b. Secure with the provided pinion screw.
c. Attach the arm to the track.

8 Adjust the closer, if necessary. See page 4 for closer
adjustment instructions.
9 Install the shaft cover and closer cover.
