MAINTENANCE
WARRANTY CONDITIONS
Before carrying out any maintenance work
•
on the high pressure cleaner discharge the
pressure and disconnect the electricity and
water supplies.
Cleaning the water filter: To ensure the pump
•
gives good service it is extremely important to
check and clean the water filter frequently. Use
pliers to extract it from the pump and rinse it
carefully in running water.
Cleaning the nozzle: A blockage in the noz-
•
zle may prevent the machine from operating
correctly, so it must be kept clean. Switch off
the machine and remove the lance. Clean the
nozzle with the pin provided. Rinse the lance
in running water.
Always keep the machine clean so that the
•
cooling air can pass through the slits without
obstructions.
To guarantee the appliance’s safety, use only
•
original spare parts supplied or approved by
the manufacturer.
If you are intending to store the machine in
•
places where there is a risk of frost, or to lea-
ve it unused for a period of more than 3 mon-
ths, a mixture of mliquid anti-freeze similar to
that used in cars should be sucked into the
machine before it is put into storage.
At start-up, small leaks may occur from the
•
pump; these will disappear after a few hours
in operation. Up to 10 drops a minute are ac-
ceptable; in case of larger leaks contact an
Authorised Service Centre.
The electric motor is protected against over-
•
loads. If the motor malfunctions, it stops. Wait
5-10 minutes before switching it back on. If the
problem persists, refer to the PROBLEMS AND
REMEDIES section. If you are still unable to eli-
minate the problem, stop using the appliance
When topping up the oil in the pump, use a
•
SAE 20W40 mineral oil. Quantity supplied:
70 gr.
Check periodically the gas oil filter (ref. 12,
•
pos. 1), and when it is damaged or too dirty,
replace it.
The replacement of the fuel metal pipe is
•
requested after number 2 disassembling to
avoid fuel leakages.
