mind the weight of the appliance when
choosing the storage location (see
technical data).
5. Service
a) Have your power tool serviced by a
qualified repair person using only
identical replacement parts. This will
ensure that the safety of the power tool
is maintained.
6. Other risks
a) DANGER: Danger of explosion. Do not
pump corrosive, highly combustible or
explosive fluids (e.g. petroleum, petrol,
acids or nitro thinner).
b) DANGER: Danger of explosion.Do not
operate the device in fire or explosion-
endangered surroundings.
c) DANGER: Water that has been delivered
with this appliance is no drinking water!
d) DANGER: This can cause damage to the
appliance.
e) DANGER: Do not pump greases, oils and
salt water.
f) DANGER: Do not pump waste water
from sanitary facilities and silty water
with a lower flowability than clear water.
g) DANGER: Do not pump water that has a
higher temperature than 35°C.
h) Injury hazard! Do not use the appliance
unattended if there is the risk of fouling.
When using the pump, always observe
the following safety instructions.

Before use check the pump for damage.
Should the pump be damaged, it must
not be used.
n
Only connect the pump to an electric
group which is protected with an earth
leakage switch (30 mA).
n
Do not use the pump in swimming pools
or other places where persons could find
themselves in the vicinity of the pump in
the water.
n
Do not use the pump in fish ponds or
fountains.
n
Never use the pump if no outlet pipe of
min. 20 cm has been fitted.
n
Never let the pump run dry.
n
Never carry the pump by the mains cable
or float switch, but only by the handle.
n
Always remove the mains plug from the
wall socket before moving or servicing
the pump.
n
If the mains cable is damaged, it has to
be replaced by the manufacturer, its
after sales service or a similarly qualified
person, in order to avoid a danger.
