MACHINE SETUP
Remove and empty the drop drawer and the ex-
hausted pod drawer.
Pod drawer warning light
ON with red light
flashing.
Insert the drawers and position a large container
under the spout.
To decalcify the machine, It Is recommended that the
LAVAZZA DESCALING
agent should be used
.
Remove and empty the water tank. Fill the tank
with the Lavazza
DESCALING
agent 8.4 fl oz
(250 ml) and water 8.4 fl oz (250 ml).

ON with alternate flashing lights.
To open the MACHINE MENU, press and keep
pressed the MULTIFUNCTION button for 5
seconds at least.
Within the machine menu, buttons assume dif-
ferent functions and allow to start the descaling
cycle, reset to factory settings or set the tempera-
ture of the machine.

Scroll selections
Press the MULTIFUNCTION button to scroll
the different functions within the machine menu.
DESCALING CYCLE
The MULTIFUNCTION button slights up to a
steady, white light.
The capsule drawer lamp
lights up with red-
eye light.
The ESPRESSO supply button is lit with white
light.
Check there is no capsule inside the capsule
containing compartment.
Press the ESPRESSO button in the machine
menu to access the descaling function.
Press the LONG ESPRESSO button to
enable or disable the descaling alarm.
Alarm ON:
Alarm OFF:
= Off
= On
= Flashing
Press the ESPRESSO button to enable the
descaling cycle.
The supply buttons

will blink to
indicate a pod found inside the pod dispensing
compartment. To discharge the pod, open and
close the pod loading lever.
The flashing of the dispensing

indicates the
presence of the water filter in the tank.
Remove the filter and press a delivery key to
confirm.
