MANUAL ARMING
With disarmed alarm system and with vehicle OFF, is possible to arm manually the alarm system
pressing the transponder button. The arming will be signalled by 2 short acoustic tones (beep).
However there is a “preset “ time of about 45 seconds during which are ignores the alarm causes
generated from the bonnet button or from the ultrasonic sensors.
If at the end of the “preset” time the vehicle is still ON, this ”preset” time is extended until few
moments after the turning OFF the vehicle.
Is also possible does the manual arming of the alarm system also excluding the ultrasonic sensors
(see the chapter “Ultrasonic sensors exclusion”).
NOTE:
The correct working of the “manual arming” is guaranteed until a maximum distance of about 5 metr s
e
around the vehicle (in open field without the presence of obstacles).
The manual arming of the alarm system precludes the automatic disarming.
Therefore, if the alarm system is armed manually, to disarm It is necessary press the transponder
button.

MANUAL DISARMING
With armed alarm system, to make the disarming, is necessary press the transponder button.
The disarming of the alarm system will be signalled by 3 short acoustic tones (beep).
NOTE
The correct working of the “manual disarming” is guaranteed until a maximum distance of about 5
metr s around the vehicle (in open field without the presence of obstacles).
e
We reco mend to arm manually the alarm system in the follows cases:
m
If you prefer to use the alarm system in the traditional mode and so to have always an acoustic
signal
during the arming and the disarming.
ling
If the vehicle is stopped into a range of about 15 metr s (in open field without the presence of
e
obstacles) respect to the transponder (as showed in the previous picture).
This helps prevent the insertion of the alarm failure due to the continuous detection of the
transponder.
If you must do the ultrasonic sensor exclusion because there is the necessity to go away from the
vehicle (exiting from the “A” zone) while inside the vehicle remains the presence of persons, animals
etc.. thus avoiding false alarms due to ultrasonic sensors (see the chapter “Ultrasonic sensors
exclusion”).
