FUNCTIONING RANGE
The wireless alarm is able to arm/disarm itself in automatically mode so it is necessary pay attention
to the effective distance from the transponder to the parked vehicle.
The “A” range indicates a distance of 5 metres around the vehicle in open field without the presence
of obstacles.
On the Inside of this zone is always guaranteed the detection of the transponder from the alarm
system.
The “B” range indicates a distance of 15 metres around the vehicle in open field without the presence
of obstacles.
On the Inside of this zone the transponder could be detected from the alarm system.
It depends to the type of vehicle, to the installation location of the siren into the vehicle, to the
presence or absence of obstacles between the vehicle and the transponder etc..
Therefore distinguish 2 cases:
If the transponder remains inside the “B” zone, to ensure the alarm arming, we recommend to arm
the alarm manually while, with the transponder, you are inside the” A” zone (see the chapter “Manual
arming/disarming”)
If the transponder exit from the “A” zone and, into the cockpit, there are mans, animals, etc.., Is
necessary do the manual arming excluding the ultrasonic sensors (See the chapter “Ultrasonic
exclusion”) to avoid their false alarms.
