ASSEMBLY

Rockshaft Installation



WARNING

1.

Spread open the six UHMV Bearings and place them
onto the Rockshaft. Make sure the mounting surface
is free of rust or dirt.

See Figure 2-6.

2.

Position the Rockshaft into the Frame Mounts. Place
the Lift Cap Bearing and fasten with 3/4-10 x 2 Bolts
and Locknuts. Ensure the UHMW Bearings are
seated properly into Caps and Frame Mounts.
Repeat for the remaining Lift Cap Bearings. Tighten
bolts.

Do not attempt to lift heavy parts (such as the
frame, rock shaft, and pull hitch) manually. Use a
hoist or a fork lift to move these parts into
position.
