OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Winch Controls
DANGER
1.
The
WINCH CLUTCH
is on the curbside of the winch
assembly. It engages or disengages the winch.
a.
The
12,000#
winch clutch handle must be pulled
out to change positions and pushed in to lock
into one of two positions
:

The winch is not designed or intended to be
used for lifting or moving people. Using it this
way can cause serious injury or death.
2.
Never attempt to disengage the winch cable
spool when the cable is under tension. Loss
of load control, property damage, injury or
death can result.
3.
Failure to leave at least five winch cable
wraps on the winch cable spool could allow
the cable to come off the spool, resulting in
serious personal injury or death.
DOWN
This position, the winch is disengaged
and the cable can “free-wheel”.
UP
In this position, the winch is engaged
and the cable can be “power” spooled
in or out. The winch is now controlled
by the
WINCH
hydraulic lever.
