3-1 FRAME ASSEMBLY
WARNING
TO PREVENT SERIOUS INJURY OR

THE FOLLOWING PROCEDURES.
IMPORTANT
SEE FIGURE 3-1 FOR PART NAMES.
3-1.1 Place the frame halves on the floor and
bolt together at five places, using 3/4-10 X
2-1/2 hex head cap screws and hex lock
nuts.
3-1.2 Place wing in position with frame and
install hinge pins, 1-1/2-6 hex slot nuts, and
3/8 X 2-1/2 cotter pins supplied with the
wing.
3-1.3 Install the correct extensions and shank
mounting tubes as required for the size unit,
using 3/4-10 X 2-1/2 hex head cap screws
and hex lock nuts provided. See Shank
Placement Figures 2-1 - 2-5 for correct lo-
cation.
3-1.4 Install the two 5 X 36 fold cylinders. In-
stall the base end to the frame (use the pins
supplied with the cylinder) and the rod end
(clevis) to the wing fold brackets (use 1-1/4 x
7-1/8 cylinder end pins, 1/4 x 2-1/2 cotter
pins, and 1-1/4 flat washers supplied with
fold bracket).
3-1.5 Lift frame and wing assembly and set
on stands 36" to 40" high.
