Utilisation
Intended use
The Smoker is a gas grill apparatus for outdoor use.
Intended use means only using the barbecue to pre-
pare barbecue food, while observing and complying
with all of the instructions in this manual.
This barbecue is only intended for private use.
Unintended Use
Any other use or application extending beyond the
intended purpose is not permitted. This applies in
particular to the following methods of improper use:
• Smoker Do not operate the cooker with charcoal
or any fuel other than liquid gas (propane/buta-
ne).
• Do not use the cooker as a heater.
• Smoker not to be used to heat materials and sub-
stances other than food that is suitable for barbe-
cuing.
Guarantee claims and warranty
Your LANDMANN-Smoker left the factory in perfect
technical condition.
Any warranty and guarantee claims shall become
void in the event of improper use of the barbecue
or the use of non-approved fuels. Discolouration,
rusting or slight deformation of parts exposed direct-
ly to the flames (cooking grill, burners, burner cover,
spark plug, etc.) do not impair the function of the
barbecue and, as such, do not form a basis for any
claims.
Please retain your receipt in case you need to make a
warranty claim.
Function
When the cylinder valve (G5) and flame regulator (B)
are open the flows through the gas hose （ G3 ） and
the flame regulator into the burner.
When the pulse igniter (A) is actuated a spark is emi-
ted by the spark plugs on the burners (burner unit)
that then ignites the gas.
The gas supply (=heat output) can be regulated and
interrupted by using the flame regulators (B)
