1. Remove Plug
Configuration Settings
Depending on your ecoMeter’s specific configuration, some of the following settings
may be changeable by the user: Time, Cost per kWh, and CO
2
Emissions Multiplier
Many utilities will automatically set the time and cost per kWh using values in the
meter and set the CO
2
multiplier before the customer receives their unit. If any set-
tings are configured for alteration by the user, they will appear in succession when
configuration mode is accessed using the procedure below. If none are accessible,
the ecoMeter bypasses configuration mode and reverts to standard operating mode.
This information may also be provided by your utility and automatically communi-
cated to your ecoMeter from the meter. If this is the case, the ability to manually up-
date will be disabled for Time, Cost per kWh, and CO
2
multiplier information.
Using Configuration Mode
Use the following procedure to enter
