Driving
Speed Limiter
The speed limiter helps the driver not to exceed a maximum speed (over 19 mph / 30 km/h), which they have previously set.
• Pull the lever

towards you to switch the system on.
• Reach the required speed and press the button

to set the speed.
• To increase or decrease the set speed by 1 mph/1 km/h, briefly press the lever upwards (+) or downwards (-) until it clicks once.
• To increase or decrease the set speed continuously, hold the lever up (+) or down (-).
• Press the button

to switch from the speed limiter to the cruise control or adaptive driving assistance (where equipped). The speed
limit is saved and referred to when you return to the speed limiter mode.
It is possible to exceed the set limit by pressing the accelerator to the floor; once the vehicle returns below the limit, the speed limiter will
resume operation.
The system can be disabled temporarily by pushing the lever forwards briefly, but not far enough for it to click. Temporarily disabling the
system does not delete the stored speed. To resume the stored speed, pull the lever towards you.
To completely deactivate the speed limiter, push the lever forwards until it clicks, or switch off the instrument cluster.
Adaptive Driving Assistance
The adaptive driving assistance combines the
functions of a traditional cruise control with a system
to regulate the distance from the vehicle in front.
Setting the following distance
The following distance can be set as a time interval which, based on the
speed, adjusts the distance to maintain from the vehicle ahead.
• Move the lever

gently to see the set distance.
• Move the lever upwards (+) or downwards (-) again to modify the distance.
The distance can be set on a scale of 1 to 5, where 1 is the shortest distance
and 5 is the greatest distance from the preceding vehicle.
Note
The distance setting only has an effect when adaptive driving assistance is
active.
When another vehicle is recognised in front of the vehicle, the adaptive
driving assistance can slow down and maintain the set following
distance, following the vehicle until it stops.
Note
Adaptive driving assistance is available only in STRADA and NEVE
driving modes.
