PARTICULAR WARNINGS FOR BURNERS
- The burner must be installed in a suitable place with the minimum number of vents as required
by the regulations in force and in any case sufficient to obtain perfect combustion.
- Only burners constructed in accordance with the regulations in force may be used.
- This burner is intended only for the use for which it was specifically designed.
- Before connecting the burner, check that the rated values on the plate correspond to those of the
main supplies (electrical, gas, diesel oil or other fuel).
- Do not touch the hot parts of the burner near the flames and the fuel pre-heating system, as they
heat up during operation and remain hot also some time after the burner has been turned off.
- If you decide to put the burner out of use, have professionally qualified personnel carry out the
following operations:
a) Disconnect the electrical power supply by detaching the power cable and turning off the main
switch.
b) Close the fuel supply by means of the manual shutoff valve and remove the control handwheels
from their seat.
PARTICULAR WARNINGS
- Ensure that the person who has installed the burner has firmly fixed it to the heat generator so
that the flame is generated inside the combustion chamber of the generator.
- Before starting the burner and at least once a year, have professionally qualified personnel carry
out the following operations:
a) Calibrate the burner fuel flow rate according to the required output of the heat generator.
b) Adjust the combustion air flow rate to obtain a combustion efficiency value at least equal to the
minimum set out in the regulations in force.
c) Carry out a combustion test in order to prevent the formation of noxious or polluting unburnt fuel
outside the limits permitted by the regulations in force.
d) Check functionality of the adjustment and safety devices.
e) Check proper functioning of the venting duct for the products of combustion.
f) After adjustment check that all the mechanical locking systems of the adjustment devices are well
tightened.
g) Ensure that the instructions for use and maintenance of the burner are at hand in the boiler
room.
- In the event of repeated locking stops of the burner, do not insist with the manual reset procedu-
res, but have professionally qualified personnel correct the fault.
• Operation and maintenance may exclusively be carried out by professionally qualified personnel
in compliance with the regulations in force.
