Alarms Included in Summary
The summary alarm selects setting allows the customer to choose whether or not to include the Low Current
Alarm, Ground Detection Alarms, and AC failure Alarm as part of the Summary Alarm.
The Low DC Voltage and
High DC Voltage alarms are included in the Summary alarm and cannot be removed.
By default all three of these alarms are included in the Summary Alarm.
3.4.6.4
Alarm Operation
The Alarm Operation setting defines if the alarms relays latch. If any alarm contacts are set to latch, the alarm
will not clear until the “Reset Alarms” option is selected out of the main menu, even if the alarm condition
returns to normal.
By default no alarms are set as latching,
except High Voltage Shutdown (HVSD)
, these alarms will clear after
the condition returns to normal.
NOTE: The HVSD alarm latches by default and cannot be changed.
3.4.7 Communications Settings
Upon selecting communications settings, the user will be given access to the following Modbus settings. The
default values are show in the illustration, all customer options are listed to the right of each option below.
If the charger is equipped with an optional communications card, refer to the communications instructions
included with the manual.
3.4.8 Set Clock
The “Set Clock” setting allows the user to program the real-time clock used by the
software. This clock is used in the data logging to timestamp events. In addition the
clock can be reset, which returns the clock to the date setting of software revision.
