COOKING PROGRAMMES
Here is an overview of the cooking programmes and which type of foods these should
be used for. The table below will help you select which programme you require:

Measure your ingredients according to the instructions on the packet or with the
measuring cup provided. The volume of the measuring cup is 180ml/135g, when you fill
the cup level flat to the top. Do not fill the cooking pot above the MAX level mark.
WHITE RICE
• Wash the rice until the water is relatively clear and place into the cooking pot.
Do not wash the rice in the cooking pot, as this is abrasive and may scratch the
non-stick coating.
• Add water according to the instructions on the packet. In principle 1 cup of
rice to 1 cup of water.
• Place the cooking pot into the main unit, close the rice cooker lid until it locks
into place.
• Plug in the appliance and switch on at the socket.
• Press the
POWER/ WARM
button and the appliance will go into Standby function.
• Press
WHITE
RICE
button, the appliance will beep once. The white rice indicator light
will flash 5 times and then light up and 45
w
will display
on the display panel.
• When the appliance has completed cooking it will beep 5 times and then go into Keep
Warm function for up to 12 hours.
• We advise that you
DO NOT
keep rice warm for more than 4 hours as the flavour will
start to deteriorate.
• We recommend that you stir the rice before serving to make it soft and fluffy with a
nylon or silicone utensil so not to damage the cooking pot.
TIP:
For a firmer rice reduce the amount of water used, for softer rice increase the
amount of water used.
