A GUIDE TO INGREDIENTS AND HINTS AND TIPS
• Once you’ve tried some of the recipes in this booklet, you may wish to adapt them,
using our suggestions as a guide.

DO NOT
use ice cubes with the Iced Fruit Dessert Maker, these are too hard for the
grinder and may damage the appliance.
• For a more decadent dessert, add chocolate and nuts to the chute along with your
fruit, or drizzle your dessert with honey or maple syrup to serve.
• Serve your iced fruit desserts as a healthy side to hot desserts like brownies, instead of
ice cream.
The following frozen fruits work well, you can experiment with different fruit to create
your own recipes.
•
Berries
- strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries and cranberries.
•
Bananas
- should be over-ripe and peeled before freezing.
•
Melon
- honeydew, cantaloupe and watermelon.
•
Pineapple
- peeled, cored and cut into long, thin slices.
•
Peaches, Pears, Apples, Mango, Kiwi
- peeled.
If using a variety of fruits or berries in your recipe, mix them up before adding to the
Dessert Maker.
