INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
• Chop your fruit into long thin shapes, around 1-2cm thick and freeze for a minimum
of 12 hours. If you are using bananas or other fruit with a skin ensure they are peeled
before freezing.
• Remove pips, stones or cores from your fruit before freezing.
• Take your frozen fruit from the freezer and let it thaw for 5 to 15 minutes at room
temperature.
• Make sure the chute, grinder and nozzle are securely locked in place before plugging in
and switching on the appliance.
• Plug in and switch on the Dessert Maker at the socket. Place a small bowl underneath
the nozzle.
• Remove the pusher from the chute and put a few pieces of frozen fruit into the top.
Be careful not to overfill the chute.
• Turn on the Dessert Maker using the on/off switch to start. Use the pusher to
feed the frozen fruit pieces through the machine. Apply steady pressure on the pusher
to slowly and gently press the ingredients through the chute.
DO NOT
use force.
• Only use the pusher to push frozen fruit into the chute.
NEVER
use your fingers or
hands to push ingredients into the appliance.
• Your iced fruit dessert will feed straight through the nozzle into the bowl underneath.
• The Dessert Maker will continue to produce iced dessert for a while after you have
stopped adding fruit. Wait until it has completely stopped, before switching off
the machine.
• Switch off and unplug the dessert maker at the socket.
• You can stir the dessert to mix. Add your favourite toppings, serve and eat immediately.
• Take apart and clean the dessert maker between each recipe.
•
DO NOT
operate continuously for more than 5 minutes. Allow the appliance to rest
for 5 minutes before using again. After three cycles, allow the unit to cool completely
before using again.
