8.1 Dispensing of beverages - coffee
GENERAL INFORMATION
Place the cup under dispenser (

) of the required group.
Adjust the height of the dispenser (
1
) if necessary.
Press the coffee dispensing key relative to the selected
dose. The selected key remains pressed and the beverage
is dispensed.
Dispensing stops automatically.
Beverage dispensing can be stopped before the set time by
pressing the same key
.

DISPLAY SCREENS
In Touch Screen machines, up to 18 different beverage options
can be set, divided into three screens with 6 options each.
To display the different beverage options available, use the keys
(

to scroll through the screens
(only if function is enabled)
.
The symbol
at the top right of the display screen
indicates which of the three screens is displayed.
Note: when a beverage is selected in the second or third screen,
after the dispensing process, the first screen will appear again
on the Touch Screen.
STOP DISPENSING Function
Stops the selected beverage from being dispensed before the
programmed dose has been reached.
Pressing the selection key again stops beverage dispensing
before it reaches the programmed dose.
Note
: Pressing the key does not change program settings.
SELECTION REPETITION Function
This function can be activated in various ways:
1) setting the desired number at the repeats entry in the
beverage recipe (see CLIENT PROGRAMMING and
paragraphs referring to
Key Menu
).
Note
: To have access to customer programming,the function
must have been previously enabled by the installer “Technician
programming/Configuration/
Customer prog. YES
”.
2) Press any one of the selection keys and after about 3
seconds press the same key again for the number of
dispensed drinks required.
Note
: This second mode can be used only if the “Technician
programming/Configuration/
Dispensing Stop: NO
” WAS
NOT enabled by the installer.
The number of programmed beverages is indicated on the
key.
To zero this setting, press the selection key and hold it down
for about 3 seconds.
NOTE
. These functions are deactivated when error messages
and/or codes are displayed and the item “Technician program-
“Technician program-
ming/Configuration/
Program. block
” is set on “YES".
BUZZER
The machine can be configured so that a buzzer sounds
whenever any key is pressed. To enable or disable the function,
press the icon
on the Touch Screen.
MESSAGES
(Self version only)
The machine displays messages on the Touch Screen that
indicate the operations for beverage dispensing.
If a key is pressed before a receptacle is placed beneath the
dispensing nozzle, the following message and image appear
on the display:
PLACE CUP
After the dispensing process, the same image will appear along
with the message “
PICK-UP THE DRINK
” and will remain on
the Touch Screen until the receptacle is removed.
