Important Note:
The LaCie DDS4 drive can not use 60-meter DDS1
media.
Important Note:
In data compression mode, the LaCie DDS4 drive
typically doubles the storage capacity and transfer rate of the native
uncompressed operation. Tape capacity and sustained data transfer
rate are dependent upon the characteristics of the files being compressed,
along with system parameters such as the speed of the host, the operating
system and the application software used. The LaCie DDS4 drive also offers
synchronous and asynchronous SCSI transfers with a high-speed burst data
transfer rate of 80MB/sec.
