Reinstalling the Packer

The following procedure details how to reinstall the packer inside the body of the A

UTOMIZER

™ F

ULL

JECT

To reinstall the packer proceed this way:

Make sure the tailgate is properly open, and all packer components are properly assembled.

Ensure the truck is properly logged out and tagged out. Refer to “Locking Out and Tagging Out

the Vehicle” on page 26.

Use a safe lifting device and hook the packer by the lifting ring (see Figure 3

26).

OTE

When reinstalling the packer into the body the follower panels must also be properly

supported. Proceed slowly and with great care.

Lift the packer and align the rollers of the follower panels (see Figure 3

35) with the side rails

inside the body.

Push the follower panels in slowly.

Once all the rollers of the follower panels have been inserted in the side rails, push the packer in

while making sure the two packer side tubes (see Figure 3

36) are well inserted in both side rails

and the central trolley is aligned with the T-Track (see Figure 3

36).
