Filter/Crossover Control View
T he Contro l View of the F i l ter/Crossover tab contains virtua l knob contro l s for Gain, H igh Pass fi l ter, and Low Pass fi l ter. E xact parameter va l ues appear in boxes be l ow
each virtua l knob. T hese parameters may be a l tered by either adjusting the virtua l knobs or by entering va l ues direct l y in the parameter boxes.
Pu ll -down menus contain fi l ter options for T ype (Butterworth, Besse l , Linkwitz-Ri l ey) and S l ope (6 – 48 dB/Octave).
X-Over option for bi-amping
I n Bi-Amp 1 and Bi-Amp 2 modes, the X -Over button appears on the F i l ter/Crossover tab. Activating the X -Over button l inks the Low Pass 2 and H igh Pass 3 fi l ter
contro l s and automatica ll y creates a synchronized crossover point for bi-amped l ow frequency and high frequency signa l s.
Setting a linked crossover frequency
1. Activate the Bi-Amp 1 or Bi-Amp 2 settings on the Configuration tab.
2. C l ick on the F i l ter/Crossover tab.
3. C l ick on the X -Over button on the F i l ter/Crossover tab. T he X -Over button wi ll l ight up and over l apping fi l ter curves wi ll appear in the F requency Curve.
4. Set the crossover frequency by any of these methods:
a) drag the Low Pass 2/ H igh Pass 3 thresho l d l ine to the desired frequency in the F requency Curve by c l icking and dragging;
b) adjust the Low Pass 2 or H igh Pass 3 virtua l knobs;
c) E nter the desired frequency direct l y into the F req. text box.
5. Se l ect a fi l ter curve from the T ype dropdown menu be l ow either the Low Pass 2 or H igh Pass 3 virtua l knobs.
6. Se l ect the desired curve steepness from the S l ope dropdown menu.
5.3.4 Parametric EQ
T he Parametric E Q tab disp l ays and contro l s P E Q DSP modu l e settings in two formats (simi l ar to the F i l ter/Crossover tab):

Filter/Crossover Frequency Curve Display
T he F requency Curve disp l ays a frequency range from 20 H z to 20 k H z, with 15 dB of cut/boost disp l ayed on the vertica l axis. Within this graphic fi e l d, the fi l ter curve
appears as a so l id, co l ored l ine running from l eft to right. T he l ine shifts and moves to refl ect changing parameter va l ues entered using the virtua l contro l s and pu ll -down
menus. Dotted vertica l l ines indicate frequency thresho l d points for the various fi l ters, numbered 1 through 4, and these thresho l d points can be se l ected and moved
through the frequency spectrum using the mouse or trackpad.
Moving filter thresholds via click-and-drag
1. C l ick and ho l d on the numbered box at the top of the desired fi l ter thresho l d l ine.
2. Drag the thresho l d l ine to the desired l ocation on the frequency spectrum.
3. T he fi l ter curve shown by the so l id l ine wi ll move and adjust as you shift the thresho l d l ine. T he virtua l knob and frequency disp l ayed in the Contro l View wi ll a l so
simu l taneous l y change as you move the thresho l d l ine in the F requency Curve.
