10.3 USEFUL TIPS
It is not necessary to washed the filters (
25 and 26
) after every single use. Make sure that the holes are not
obstructed.
For a better result, we suggest warming the cups on the cupwarmer (
18
) which works by machine on only.
10.4 STEAM
1. Check that the tank contains water.
ATTENTION
: the internal tank has a special floating device that controls
the water level. In case of lack of water, the water missing pilot light (
17
) comes on automatically and at
the same time the sound allarm buzzes. Please fill the water tank with water (as described under Starting
the machine 11.1, points 3,4,5): this will shut off the pilot light (
17
) and the buzzer, confirming that the
water level is suitable. NB: the water tank must be filled in with water till the MAX level indicated on the
appliance body.
2. Switch on the steam group by pressing the steam main switch (
6
) (only if it has not been yet done): the pilot
light (
3
) gets on. The machine is at the right temperature, ready to make steam.
3. Place the cup/mug with the drink to be heated under the steam tube (
10
).
4. Press the toggle steam switch (9) up paying attention that the steamer always stays immerse in the liquid, to
avoid possible hot drink sprays.
5. Press the toggle steam switch (
9
) down to stop steaming and remove the steam tube (
10
) from the cup/mug.
6. The steam tube (
10
) can become extremely hot so make sure to handle it only touching the rubber safety
protection.
7. Clean the steam tube (
10
) accordingly with a normal damp cloth.
10.5 MAKING CAPPUCCINO WITH THE AUTOMATIC CAPPUCCINO MAKER
Before turning on the machine, replace the turbo steam
nozzle (
10
) with the Automatic Cappuccino maker as
follows:
1. make sure the steam group main switch (
6
) is closed.
2. loosen (anticlockwise) the upper locking ring (A) of the
turbo steam nozzle (
10
) (Photo 1).
3. slide the turbo steam nozzle (
10
) down and off the
steam pipe.
4. slide the Automatic Cappuccino maker onto the
steam pipe up to the stop and tighten the locking ring
(clockwise).
After having mode espresso in a cappuccino cup and
carried out all the normal steps to bring the machine to
the proper temperature for steam production, proceed
as follows:
1. Up and down two or three times the steam switch (
9
)
until only steams comes out of the Automatic Cappuccino maker (
24
).
2. Fill a tall, narrow container halfway with cold milk.
3. Put the rubber uptake tube (B) (Photo 2) of the Automatic Cappuccino maker (
24
) into the milk.
Place the cup with the espresso under the spout of the Automatic Cappuccino maker (
24
) and up the steam switch
(
9
) to begin producing thick, hot, frothy milk. When the cup is full, down the steam switch (
9
).
You can adjust the milk froth by acting on the pin (C) (photo 2), Cappuccino Automatic to have the desired
consistency of cream. For a cream with greater volume, move the plug upwards (photo 2).
When you are done making cappuccino you must clean milk residues from the Automatic Cappuccino maker.
