WATER FILLING
Once the hydraulic connections have been completed, proceed to fill the system. In
order to do this it’s necessary to open the filling cock until the index of the hydrometer,
placed at the bottom of the front panel, reaches 1. While performing, it is recommended
to vent indoor air through the vent valve Jolli placed under the cover of the furnace and
through the vents of the radiators. This operation must be done when the system is
stationary (switched-off furnace). Once the system has been vented and reached the
pressure indicated, it is possible to power on the furnace. We advise you to check
periodically that the pressure is always between 0,5 and 1,2 of hydrometric graduation.
IMPORTANT:
If pressure is subject to increase or decrease it’s best to find the cause and restore it.
TOO LOW PRESSURE: open the filling cock until desired pressure is reached. (max 1
bar).
TOO HIGH PRESSURE: drain a bit of water from the safety valve (you must dismantle
the right panel to find it at the bottom of the stove) turning the knob until the desired
pressure is reached (max 1 bar) and then replace the safety valve in the original
position. Stove safety valve is calibrated at 3 bar; alternatively drain the water through
the air vent valve of the radiators.
WARNING:
1 Let the water circulate for a few minutes in order to obtain a total air vent through vent valve
Jolli. To facilitate this, the pump should be operated at intervals of 10 seconds by turning the
switch.
2 Check the pressure up on the hydrometer: if decreased it must be restored between 0,5 and
the max 1 bar through the filling cock.
3 All heating objects should be provided of a vent valve.
4 Do not operate the pump with the furnace empty.
5 If unit is not completely vented, the furnace won’t be able to work.
