Safety
There is a risk of electrical injury when the high-voltage capacitors are charged.
Before any maintenance operation, disconnect the controller from mains and wait for 10 minutes so the
capacitors discharge completely.
Check that there is no voltage at the two pins of the power plug.
Replacement procedure
This procedure describes how to replace the power plug of an LA8 amplified controller.
Unplug the POWER CORD from the mains and wait for 10 minutes . 1.
Check that there is no voltage at the two pins of the power plug. 2.
Use the voltage absence tester.
Cut the POWER CORD near the plug. 3.
Use the Stanley knife.
Strip the three wires of the power cord on a length compatible with the new plug. 4.
Use the Stanley knife and the wire stripping pliers.
Fix the three wires on the new plug according to the color code of Table 1. 5.
Use the screwdriver.
