A dirty air cleaner element could cause
engine failure.
If the element is dirty, either air-blow
clean from the inside or gently tap it,
making sure not to damage it.

1) Check that the fuel system parts have no cracks or leaks. Replace if necessary.
2) Should any grass or leaves or flammable materials have accumulated inside or around
the muffler, air-blow clean.

• Check the air pressure of the tires and inspect the tires for cracking, damage, or any
abnormal wear.

• Each part is held in place by a number of bolt stops. Bolts, nuts and other parts may
begin to loosen after you begin using the mower, so make sure to tighten them.

Appropriate tightening torque in N-m (kgf cm)
1) Side brake
If the side brake wire stretches, tighten the
wire by adjusting the adjustor bolts at either
end of the wire.
2) Foot brake
If the foot brake wire stretches, tighten the
wire by adjusting the adjustor bolts at either
end of the wire.
When doing so, make sure that the braking
force is evenly distributed between the left
and right brakes.

: It is extremely dangerous if a brake wire snaps as you will be unable
to bring the mower to a stop. Always inspect the brake wires before
starting the mower. If signs of cracking or any other type of damage
can be seen, replace immediately.
