Getting Ready
When au IC Card is Not Inserted
If the au IC card is not inserted, the following
operations are unavailable. And " " appears on the
status bar.
• Sending/receiving SMS
• Initial settings and sending/receiving emails of
au-mail
• PIN code setting
• Checking your phone number and email address
of the product
Besides the items above, necessary functions
such as your phone number are also unavailable.
Attaching/Removing au IC Card

• Attach/remove the au IC card after turning off
the product.

Hook a nail on the groove to pull out
the card slot cover, and take out the
microSD memory card/au IC card
