Configuration under NetWare
7. Click on Start in the Task Bar and select Queue Server from the resulting menu.
The Qserver-Default User Selection window will appear.
8. Select the user name entered in step 5 from the drop-down menu titled Select the user from this
list.
9. Select the queue to be registered from the drop-down menu titled Novell Client Name in the
Qserver-Grant/Revoke Queue Server rights for client window. Then click on Grant.
* To register more than one queue, perform the same procedure for each queue.
10. Once queue registration is complete, click on Done.
11. Perform the following settings in the Qserver-Setup window.
• Novell File Server: Select the name of the corresponding Printer Server. (NetWare 4.xx)
• Novell Queue: Select the name of the corresponding queue.
• Local Directory: Select “C:\SPOOL”.
• Polling Enabled: Select this check box.
• Polling Interval: Type in the amount of time between queries under NetWare.
12. Click on OK and login once again under Default User.
13. Once Queue Server is running again, the Qserver-Generic Server Utility for Novell Networks
window will appear. When Start appears in this window, printing is possible.

Configuring the Printer (at the Client)
1. Click on Start in the Task Bar and select Settings from the resulting menu. Then select Printers and
then Add Printer in the subsequent submenus.
* The procedure to continue configuring the printer differs according to the operating system in use.
Perform the procedure that is appropriate to your operating system. The example procedure below
is for configuring the printer under Windows 95.
2. Select Network printer in the Add Printer Wizard window. Click on Browse, located under the
Network path or queue name dialogue box, and select the name of the NetWare4 queue.
3. Click on OK and then install the Printer Driver software.
* When selecting the port, choose the name of the queue that you created under NetWare.
