COOLING SYSTEM
Check if the coolant level is between the upper and
lower limits on the reserve tank.
If the coolant level is too low, it means that there are
abnormal conditions.
First fill the reserve tank with coolant to the upper
level line.
Coolant concentrate specified density:30%(cold area
50%).
Inspect the telltale hole for signs of mechanical seal
coolant leakage.
If the mechanical seal is leaking, replace the water
pump assy.
Remove the reserve tank cap and fill to the upper
level line with distilled water.
Press down the reserve tank cap.
Remove the drain bolt to drain the coolant.
Upper Limit
Place the motorcycle on its main stand on level
ground for coolant level check.

Start the engine and allow the cooling fan to
run. Then, stop the engine.
Check the coolant level in the reserve tank and
fill to the upper level line if the level is under
the lower level line.
