4. NETWORK SETTINGS
4.4 IP MANAGEMENT
The KVM extenders from kvm-tec support three different addressing methods. The IP Manage
-
ment menu is only accessible in the active “Matrix Switching Mode” under Features.
Default
In the standard mode, each extender generates itself an IP address with the help of the ID
number in order to exclude number collisions in the network.
To edit, press the

key
Static IP
In Static-IP mode, the IP addresses can be assigned via the OSD. It is necessary to be connec-
ted to a local partner to be able to transmit IP addresses.
The values displayed in blue show the currently assigned IP addresses. With the arrow keys
up / down you can overwrite the respective IP address. By entering a valid 12-digit number,
the addresses can be overwritten. E.g.: for the IP address 10.0.0.1, the 12-digit number
010.000.000.001 must be entered in the OSD. The separating points are added automatically.

Reset all to 0.0.0.0
S Save
Static IP addresses can only be overwritten in Static IP mode.
