Overview of the Acro-HD

KVAL's Acro-HD Exterior Door Light Insert Station enables light installation and door turn-over
for handing both in or out-swing door slabs. Options are available build a door frame complete
with a sweep and a sill around the door. The HD designation denotes heavy duty. Hydraulic cylin-
ders lift the door rotation fixtures in parallel with flow dividers and a 5 HP hydraulic pump. Door
lights can weigh up to 125 lbs, while completed door units can weigh up to 175 lbs. For door light
installation, pressing a foot-pedal elevates a lift table below the door to present the light to the
door cut-out. An operator installs the interior frame and drives screws manually. Adjustment for
door lengths from 6'8'', 7'0" and 8'0" is performed by a selector switch. No manual adjustments
are required. Maximum door width is 3’6”. Maximum light width is 28 1/2''. Adjustment for
either in-swing or out-swing door units is also completely automatic. Manual adjustment of the
door support arms is necessary for door lights wider than 25'', or for 3'6'' doors. This operation
takes less the 60 seconds and no tools are required.

• Door width: 2'6" to 3'6"
• Door thickness: 1 3/4"

Option(s):

Option A: Door Frame Assembly Fixtures Adds indexing fixtures for manual attachment of the
hinge jamb to the door and also adds cylinder operated door support fixtures at each corner of the
machine to align sill, header and both leg jambs for frame assembly. Fixtures automatically com-
pensate for 6'8", 7'0" & 8'0" door lengths. Also included are UHMW slides and rollers for out-
swing door units. Maximum door weight 175 lbs.

About this Manual

This Manual includes identification of machine assemblies, power-up and power-down steps,
operation and using the user interface.

The Manual also includes maintenance and troubleshooting information.
