Remove and Replace the Router or Pre-Drill Bits

990 APEX Service Manual

Lightly attach collet assembly on drill.

Insert the new bit into the assembly.

Before tightening the collet assembly, adjust the bit depth. Set the router bit and the

drill bit depth to match the settings in the

Tool Config

parameters

Note:

If available, use the Bit Depth Gauge that supplied with the machine.

Lightly tighten and torque to correct value.

See “Collet Torque Values” on page

63.
