Extraction air system assembly
The connection between the hob and the fan can be made by means
of a fl exible hose or a fl at duct.
The ventilation air components for one of these variants are enclosed
with the hob and are mounted as shown in the fi gure.
If necessary, shorten the length of the fl at duct by means of a fi ne-
toothed saw.
Important:
The components must all be fi rmly fastened as shown with the
adhesive tape enclosed after they have been attached.

The fl exible connection piece is used for a worktop thickness of
600 mm. Please make sure that installation is as taut and
crease-free as possible by shortening excess material.
On point
Before mounting the connection piece (d) onto the base board fan
(e), apply the sealing tape to the connection piece for the base
board fan (f).
