Possible cause

Solution

• The appliance can emit 

noise during operation 
(e.g. switching and 
pumping noises).

Such noise is normal. 

Possible cause

• The childproof lock is 

activated.

Solution

• The temperature of the 

cooking space is over 
100 °C.

Allow the appliance to cool down before 
using steam. 

The steam supply does not start until the 
temperature of the cooking space falls below 
100 °C.

Possible cause

Solution

• The temperature of the 

water in the boiler is too 
high.

➤

Wait for it to cool down (this can take up to 
30 minutes).

For safety reasons, the water is not pumped 
off until it has dropped below a certain 
temperature.
The appliance can still be used.
