Caution!
Improper operation of the device may cause considerable damage to the
device itself, the piping system and other objects.
•
Never push or pull the rod across sharp edges or the rod may be
damaged.
•
Never bend the rod more than the designated bending radius (see page
17) or the rod may break.
• The rod may only be used to operate camera heads and to supply them
with electrical power. It is never to be used as a towing rope or similar.
Caution! Risk of stumbling!
The push rod may constitute a stumbling risk. Therefore:
• Set up the device as close as possible to the pipe opening.
• If necessary, mark the rod or block off the area which the rod will be
operated in.
Caution! Risk of injury from GRP rod!
The push rod is a glass-fibre reinforced plastic rod. By reason of energy stored
in the rod, it may suddenly lash out, e.g. when the rod has got stuck. There-
fore: Keep the rod as short as possible outside of the pipe to be inspected,
and reel it in immediately after use.
Caution! Risk of blinding!
When used in dark areas, the camera light may blind you if the camera is out-
side of a pipe. Therefore:
• Direct the camera light downwards.
• Never point the camera light at car drivers, into eyes, etc.
Caution! Risk of blinding by LEDs!
• Never look directly into the LEDs from a short distance or for a longer
period of time.
• High brightness LEDs are NOT a toy and must be kept out of children‘s
reach.
