3. Camera description
The K-50 colour camera bends easily through spaces as tight as 87° bends
in DN70 pipes. It is the ideal axial camera for small diameter pipes. The
self-levelling K-50 is made of fabric tubing and a stainless steel enclosure,
and it delivers a crystal clear image. 16 white, high brightness LEDs provide
excellent illumination in the pipe. When used with a centring sleeve from our
accessories range, the camera is also suited for inspecting pipes up to 200
mm in diameter.

4. Initial operation
Before attaching the camera to the push rod, the connectors must be
checked for dirt and moisture, and properly cleaned prior to the inspection, if
necessary.
Furthermore, the O-rings must be checked for damage like tears or porosity to
ensure that the plug-and-socket connection will seal correctly.
All cameras and push rods in the Kummert
CamMobile Line are interchangeable.
However, to guarantee optimal push
performance and pipe bend mobility, the
manufacturer‘s recommendations for the
combination of camera and push rod are
as follows:
Please note:
Before mounting a camera, the push rod has to be disconnected from the
base unit or the base unit has to be switched off! Connecting a camera while
the unit is operating may result in interferences and damage to electronic
components.
