Connect one side of the hydraulic hose to the hydraulic
cylinder by inserting the hydraulic hose connector into
the opening of the hydraulic cylinder connection and
tightening the threaded sleeve on the hydraulic cylinder
connection to the hydraulic hose connection by turning
the threaded sleeve until it is tight. If you feel that you need
to use pliers, a wrench or another tool for this process,
disassemble the hose and repeat the process according to
the instructions above.

Check that the connections between the hose and the
cylinder and between the hose and pump are tight by
moving the connected parts slightly. They must be tightly
connected.

The hydraulic system is now ready for use.
When using the cylinder in a corresponding hydraulic tool, please
follow the procedure indicated in the operating instructions of the
hydraulic tool.
Depending on the application, the following general instructions must
also be followed:
•
When screwing in adapters or pressure pads, you must
always ensure that the piston does not rotate with the
cylinder, as this may cause damage to seals.
•
Do not use tools when mounting adapters and pressure
pads. Only tighten the parts by hand.
•
If adapters or pressure pads are not fully mounted, the
force will be applied to the thread during use, and not to
the entire piston. This can result in significant damage.
Therefore, make sure and check that the threads of adapters
and pressure pads are completely screwed in before each
operation.
•
The external thread of the cylinder must always be com-
pletely screwed in when it is being used.
•
If the external thread of the cylinder is not being used, it
must be covered with the protective cover to protect it from
dirt and damage.
