Warning: Before loading the hydraulic extractor, make sure that all
components of the system are stabilized. When lifting loads, the
cylinder should sit on a level surface that has sufficient load-bear-
ing capacity to support the load. If possible, a support foot should
always be used.
Danger: Any technical changes to the product are prohibited. In
particular, welding of parts on the hydraulic cylinder is prohibited.
Warning: Always load the cylinder centrally and evenly on the
piston. Otherwise, the load on the cylinder is increased and
elevated loads could slip under certain circumstances.
Warning: Hydraulic components may only be maintained by
qualified personnel. Always contact the manufacturer for repairs.
Warning: Replace any worn out or damaged components
immediately with original spare parts. Spare parts from third-
party suppliers can fail and lead to immense property damage
and personal injuries.
Warning: Use the hydraulic system only when you are certain that
it is free of air. Air is a compressible medium and can therefore be
compacted. This can lead to dangerous situations. You can read
about how to properly vent a hydraulic system in Section 6.3
Possible errors and their resolution.
Danger: If you are using the hydraulic cylinder in a hydraulic tool,
make sure that both parts are compatible and can be used
together before assembly. For proper use of the cylinder together
with the corresponding tool, please refer to the operating
instructions for the hydraulic tool.
Warning: Single-action cylinders are spring-loaded. Therefore, do
not attempt to open them. Special dismantling techniques are
needed for this.
Danger: Do not load any pressureless cylinders by, for example,
supporting a load with them.
