Safety chain

Kit no. 83080001

 

A safety chain must be used when transporting the
rake on public roadways. Use ANSI/ASAE safety
chain type with a minimum ultimate system strength
of 10,100 lbs (45kN). The safety chain must be tied
around a tractor attachment point other than the
attachment bar.

9.10 Ball hitch

Kit no. 18968022

 

The ball hitch is offered as an alternative to the
clevis hitch.  See "Coupling the Machine" in the
Putting Into Service section.

The safety chain is intended to keep the
machine under control in the event of a loss
or failure of the hitch pin.
