Adjusting center kicker wheel ground
pressure
Ground pressure adjustments can be made by
tightening or loosening the adjustment nut (1).
To adjust center kicker wheel ground pressure:
- Stop the tractor engine and remove ignition key.
- Wait until the rotating parts have come to a complete
stop.
- Tighten the adjustment nut (1) to increase ground
pressure.
- Loosen the adjustment nut (1) to decrease ground
pressure.
2. Helper springs
The helper spring is optional on models SR108 and
SR110, and is standard on model SR112.
If less ground pressure is required after a full
compression adjustment has been made, an additional
spring (1) may be added inside each of the main
springs(2).
Before leaving the tractor or before
adjusting, maintaining or repairing the
machine, always perform the safety
shutdown procedure.
The rake wheels are activated by being
dragged across the ground. Adjust the
ground pressure for good raking action
without damaging the crop.
Additional reduction in ground pressure may
only become necessary when the rake is in
position for maximum rake width.
Before leaving the tractor or before
adjusting, maintaining or repairing the
machine, always perform the safety
shutdown procedure.
