 Safety chain
A safety chain must be used when transporting the rake
on public roadways. Use ANSI/ASAE safety chain type
with a minimum ultimate system strength of 10,100 lbs
(45kN). The safety chain must be tied around a tractor
attachment point other than the attachment bar.
 Hydraulic connection
Remove connector dust caps and connect hydraulic
hoses to tractor.
The safety chain is intended to keep the
machine under control in the event of a loss
or failure of the hitch pin
Safety chains are sold separately. Contact your
Kuhn dealer to purchase a safety chain for your
specific rake.
The tractor's auxiliary valve must be
equipped with float.
Tractor hydraulic system should be capable of
producing 1500psi at 6gpm.
