6.2.7 Adjusting the machine
Frame height
If the machine is fitted with check chains:
(Belgium, Spain, France)
- Lower the tractor lift in order to obtain a distance
slightly over H = 500 mm (1’8’’) between the hitch
pins and the ground.
- Attach check chains supplied with the machine to
the upper free hole of the tractor's top link
attachment clevis.
- Lower the tractor's lift linkage to tension the check
chains.
If the machine is not fitted with check chains:
- Lower tractor lift linkage until obtaining a distance
of H = 500 mm (1’8’’) between the hitch pin pivot
point and the ground.
Proper height is reached when the main frame is
horizontal.
