TRANSPORT
To switch over the GA 4511 GM from the work position to the transport position (photo 15), proceed as follows
:
- Disengage tractor PTO and wait for the rotor to stop.
- Pull cord (K) and simultaneously lift guards (P) using hydraulic cylinder (H) until latch (A) automatically locks into
place (photo 17).
- Secure rotor into the transport position using lock (S) of left side guard (photo 18).
- Then remove the 10 tine arms (T) on the sides and rear of the machine, fix them into their racks (R) and lock them
into place with linchpin (U) (photo 16). The 3 tine arms on the front of the machine do not need to be removed.
- Lock 3-point frame (E) by lowering lock (V) (photo 16).
- Check that plug (H) of the lighting equipment is plugged in correctly (see photo 1, page 17) and that signal lights
are clean and operate well.
Clear all people away from the guard pivoting zone before putting the machine into
the transport position.
The parking stand must always be folded up in the horizontal position when in
transport and in work.
Never let the rotors rotate when the machine is in the transport position due to risks
of accidents and material damage.
Before going on the road, check that the lighting equipment and reflectors are clean
and operate well.
