LUBRICATION
Every 8 hours grease the following with SHELL Multi-Purpose grease NLGI grade 2:
- PTO yoke bearings and telescopic drive tubes.
Every 100 hours and after each season grease the following with SHELL Multi-Purpose grease NLGI grade 2:
- Rotor gearbox (1 grease zerk L, photo 21) and tine arm bushings (13 grease zerks L, photo 22).
- Bogie axle grease zerks (2 grease zerks L per bogie axle - photo 23).
Note : - The central cam controlling tine arm movement is greased for life with SHELL Multi-Purpose grease NLGI
grade 2.
- The drive gearbox (E) (photo 21) ist greased for life with SHELL ALVANIA WRO grease (Quantity : 1,2
kg).
Regularly clean and apply a “Never-Seize” compound to the removable portion of the tine arms to
ensure easy removal.
When necessary, oil all other machine pivots with a SAE 30 or heavier SHELL oil (hydraulic cylinder, latches, parking
stand etc ...).
Before carrying out any operation such as maintenance or adjustment on the
machine, stop the tractor engine, remove ignition key and wait for the rotor to stop
before leaving the tractor.
