FC243

Maintenance and storage

Replacing the belts

With the machine in transport position.
Remove self-locking nut of pivoting guardrail using the

box spanner supplied with the machine (1).

Pivot guardrail tube (2).

Remove the 3 self-locking nuts using box spanner.
Remove belt guard.

Loosen tensioning bolt (1)
Remove belt tensioning bolt from its holder.
Tip over jockey pulley (2).
Replace belts in full sets
Reinstall belt tensioning bolt and washer on its support.
Tighten belt tensioning bolt using box spanner until the

spring is completely compressed.

Reinstall the belt guard.
Check that the guard is engaged inside the rigid beld

guard.

Tighten the self-locking nuts using box spanner.
Pivot guardrail tube.
Tighten self-locking nut of pivoting guardrail using box

spanner.

Never replace belts individually. When a belt is
damaged, always replace the whole set (Part
no. 83101687).
