Preparations
- Remove the original fuel tank (see the Owner's Manual).

NOTE:
When mounting the tank on a USA/ZA model of type XCF-W, EXC-F, XC-W as of
MY 2012, the following additional parts are required:

- Remove the EFI pump

from the original fuel tank. To do so, remove
the fuel line, open the fittings

) and pull the pump out
of the tank.
- Insert the EFI pump into the new fuel tank.
- Mount the original mounting nut

and original fuel connection

- Mount the EFI pump

onto the new fuel tank using the original EJOT-
PT screws (2.5 Nm).

When the pump is mounted, the plug connection

- Mount the fuel line with the hose clamp (included).

- Mount the tank supports on the radiator (Figure

- Cut out the plastic at the marked points (Figures

- Mount the new fuel tank and screw it into place.
- Connect the fuel line and connect the pump to the wiring harness.
