5.2 Factory Defaults

5.3 Software Upload

This page facilitates an update of the firmware controlling the switch.

Click to the location of a software image

Upload

Click to start uploading.

After the software image is uploaded, a page announces that the firmware update is initiated. After about a

minute, the firmware is updated and the switch reboots.

Warning: While the firmware is being updated, Web access appears to be defunct. The front LED flashes

Green/Off with a frequency of 10 Hz while the firmware update is in progress. Do not reset or power off the

device at this time or the switch may fail to function afterwards.

5.4 Configuration

You can save/view or load the switch configuration. The configuration file is in XML format with a hierarchy

of tags: Header tags: <?xml version="1.0"?> and <configuration>. These tags are mandatory and must be

present at the beginning of the file.
